- Getting complete clarity on the ideal characteristics you need to display in order to be the leader who creates the “high performance – high touch” workplace that you dream of.
I use the enneagram personality profile as the starting point so that we can understand your personality strengths and your growth opportunities, as well as understanding what you default to when under pressure – this is when you usually don’t cover yourself in glory! - Getting completely clear on your values so that we can define your desired leadership culture based on values rather than on rules (values are way more powerful, and enable you and others to work out what is ok and what is not ok without having to have a book of commandments). You will also work out how to bring these values to life in your business.
To arrive at this I will ask you a lot of questions that help you uncover what is really important to you (your values) and what you find utterly intolerable (your taboos). I also use a variety of coaching techniques to help you work out how to make these values come to life in your business. - Understanding how to identify the drivers of peak performance in your business so that you and the managers reporting to you are paying attention to the behaviour that delivers results (what is happening on the field) rather than obsessing about the results themselves (the scoreboard).
Once again, it is through my skillful questioning that you will clarify the behaviours and activities which, if practiced sufficiently and appropriately, will deliver the hard business results you are looking for. - Deciding on the routines and rituals that will cause or influence high levels of engagement in your business. Routines are the things you personally need to pay attention to every single day/week/month so that your finger is on the pulse of the drivers of high performance and the indicators of high touch. Rituals are regular, structured occasions where your team(s) are paying attention to the most important drivers of results. Rituals also include those activities that teams participate in regularly in order to stay connected with each other, the business and its customers.
You can expect me to share research as well as tools and techniques for creating meaningful meeting rituals and other interpersonal rituals and personal routines that ensure that you are paying attention to the most important things in a structured and disciplined way. I use the analogy of “The 20 mile march” in order to help you determine what you must implement in your business. - Learning and implementing some personal structure, discipline and boundaries so that you are able to manage the time commitments that are required in order to provide effective leadership in the creation of a “high performance – high touch workplace”.
I will use tried and tested tools and techniques that will assist you to determine how to prioritise what you have on your plate, including the time you need to spend actively creating a positive leadership culture. - Learning how to guide and influence the managers reporting to you so that they also become the leaders you need in the business in order for it to be both high performance AND high touch!
We will meet on Zoom or Microsoft Teams.

- a 1 hour session in which we will get absolutely clear on your coaching objectives and the indicators of your success. These will guide your coaching journey and we will also use them to assess the return on your coaching investment;
- a 90 minute intake session in which we explore the life lessons that have formed you;
- an enneagram personality profile with a 30 minute debrief;
- 10 coaching sessions of an hour each;
- ad hoc contact via Whatsapp, email or Zoom for those in-the-moment times when you need a sounding board;
- a final 1 hour review session in which we evaluate your achievements and determine the value you have created as a result of these achievements.
